Set in the pristine foots of the Nandi Hills, this project belongs to the community farming typology. It is designed using earth friendly ideals in concept and material


Community Farming

The entire boundary of the community is lined with big trees which will give revenue generating in the later stage like the Teak wood, Cocunut, Red Sal, Jack fruit, Arecanut, Casurina, Neem, etc; Apart from these spaces each plot will be provided with some fruit trees by the community with an option.


Each plot back yard of around 250* sqm will be combined farm with neighboring plots for rice, ragi, jowar, maize, pluses, cash corps, cardamom, sugarcane, etcs; these spaces will be maintained with the support from the community.



​Personal Kitchen Farming

Each resident would have about 450 sqm plot of which about 150 sqm will be for individual farm yard, where one will have an option to indulge his/her own choice of vegetables/ fruits, about 100 sqm will be for the house.


Animal Husbandry

The plant care and the nutrient supply for the farm is done organically with manures prepared from the cattle fences in the animal husbandry unit. Also the farm animals will provide organic dairy for the community.


Aqua Farming

The farm pond in the site can also be used for aqua culture to complete the Aquaponic cycle for better nutrient supply to the plants.
