A scenic plot in the Eagleton Golf resort is an example of the contemporary getaway house in stark contrast to the vernacular farmhouse. Built on multiple levels to accommodate future division, a huge open lawn welcomes the entry. The mezzanine party space overlooks the double height living/dining region coagulating into one visually. The climate response to the large open glass windows are the wooden angles louvres on the façade in the eastern and western sides and heat repelling long stone walls in the other two cardinal directions.
